What
is WordPress Maintenance?

Regular WordPress Maintenance is essential to keep your site safe and secure. Think of it as good house keeping. It’s like servicing your car – if you don’t change the oil and put air in your tyres it’s going to let you down. Often times, website owners are unaware of how important WordPress Maintenance is until their website is hacked or starts to look different and stops working the way it should.

Why
do I need WordPress Maintenance?

Well, with a WordPress Maintenance and Security Package, it’s one less thing for you to worry about. Let someone else look after your site while you look after your business. A WordPress Maintenance & Security Package will ensure your site is monitored constantly.

Your WordPress site will be backed-up every day. Any plugin’s that are on your site will be updated as soon as a new version becomes available. The WordPress CMS itself will be updated for you. If any of these updates cause things to break or behave unexpectedly, it’s not your problem. Your WordPress Maintenance & Security Package will take care of it. In addition to this, your site will be scanned regularly for malware and security issues.

If you choose, you can add a time block each month to use as you see fit. It’s up to you.

How much
is WordPress Maintenance?

You don’t have to pay someone else to maintain your WordPress website. If you have the time to learn how and can contribute time ongoing, then you can do it yourself. Some people prefer this, others think their time is better spent serving their customers. It’s a personal choice. WordPress Maintenance and Security Packages start from $85 (AUD) per month.

What
is flexi-time?

Flexi-time is time you can add to your monthly maintenance plan. It’s basically like having your own digital expert to keep an eye on things and make sure your site is always working hard for your business. You can use flexi-time hours for website updates, design/development tasks, digital marketing, training or consultation. It’s up to you.

What if
I need more flexi-time?

We only work with clients whose websites we maintain, so we know those sites are up-to-date, safe and secure. If you use up your flexi-time for a month and want to add more, all you need to do is let us know how much time you would like to add.

You’ll be charged the same rate as the plan you’re on, for example:

  • Security Essentials
$125 per hour (when purchasing up to 2 hours)
  • Security Essentials Plus
$102.50 per hour (when purchasing 2 hours or more)
  • Pro Package 5
$101.00 per hour (when purchasing 5 hours or more)
  • Pro Package 8
$95.00 per hour (when purchasing 8 hours or more)

My website has gone offline! What should I do?

Enter your website address here, to check everyone else is having the same problem as you. If the problem is just for you, try clearing your browser history (cache and cookies) and reload the page. Make sure you have an internet connection!

If your website is MIA for everyone, send us a support email, (although our website uptime monitor has probably already already let us know). Rest assured, we’ll be taking care of it and letting you know if there’s anything you need to do.

If this happens outside office hours, contact your web host directly to confirm that your web hosting, domain and SSL certificate have not expired and to make sure that the issue isn’t connected to them. We’ll take it from there.
